6/29/08 Katie Sieben Shines Sunday At U.S Olympic Swimming Trials University of Richmond swimmer Katie Sieben missed reaching the semifinals in the 100m fly by less than a half-second, but the sophomore set a long-course personal-best time of 1:00.38 on Sunday afternoon as action began at the 2008 U.S Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb. Sieben's time was the 26th-fastest in the 137-swimmer event.

3/24/08 Sieben Wraps Up First-Ever National Championship Appeareance Sophomore Katie Sieben wrapped her first-ever appearance in the NCAA National Championship this weekend, swimming the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly in Columbus, Ohio. Sieben's appearance marked the fifth-consecutive season that the Spiders have been represented at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships.
2/23/08 Spider Swimming Captures Lucky No. 7 Senior Jessica Witt was named the Most Outstanding Performer for the second time in her career (2006), while third-year head coach Matt Barany earned his third-straight Coach of the Year honor.
