Junior Kelsey Blank will serve as a student assistant this year after her playing career ended last fall due to injury.

During her two years in a Spider uniform, Blank played in 30 games, starting all but two, and contributed one goal and seven assists. The midfielder was named to the 2003 Duke adidas Classic All-Tournament Team.

Blank, a native of San Mateo, California, played four years of high school varsity soccer for Notre Dame. The two-time team captain earned All-League recognition in each of her four seasons.
