Richmond's Beach Wins Cannon Cup
Richmond men's golfer Sam Beach used a bogey-free final round on Sunday to win the inaugural Cannon Cup, edging Wake Forest's Dustin Groves by one stroke.

Brad Miller was named the Baltimore Examiner Player of the Year in 2008.

Men's Golf Announces Two Incoming Freshmen For 2008-09
Richmond men's golf coach Adam Decker announced the addition of incoming freshmen Jack Lessing and Brad Miller for the 2008-09 season. Miller will join the Spiders after a standout career at Gilman High in Timonium, Md., while Lessing becomes the third Spider men's golfer in his family out of Cold Spring Harbor High in Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.

Sophomore Robert Lindstrom was second on the team and seventh in the Atlantic 10 in scoring average.
